We have installed over 100,000 solar panels in Oklahoma and many of those have been for Oklahoma residents who are looking to save money on their monthly energy bills. A few projects we’ve been honored to install are larger commercial projects. The first project we’d like to highlight is an affordable housing project for Choctaw Nation. We installed solar on 14 different homes in Wright City, OK for Choctaw tribal members. Solar allows the Choctaw Nation to lower energy bills and take advantage of the federal tax credit for the entire project. Another project we’re proud of is a system for the City of Norman. The city provides free composting to their residents off of Highway 9 near the University of Oklahoma via a UV Composting Plant. This plant recycles brush, limbs, and other eco-friendly components and turns it into compost through the plants purifying process. The system we installed was 79 panels on the plant’s roof, which saves the City of Norman operating costs and invests in the overall life of the plant. The last project we’d like to highlight is for a business called Premium Hydroponics, LLC near Pawnee, OK. We installed 245 solar panels with a combination of ground and roof mounts. The system was designed to offset approximately 86% of the owners monthly bill and will help him run his business sustainability for decades to come.
